What Causes Loose Motion?
Hello Sir,
My son's age is 3 years 3 months. He is having loose motion from yesterday. The stool is yellow, semi-liquid, contains undigested food, and the repetition is 3-4 times a day. Neopeptine syrup and ORS is being administered. My son always drinks plenty of water, and till now there is no symptom of dehydration or dizziness or any other complication. Please advise. Thanks a lot.
P.S.: My son's normal diet include Pediasure with Keloggs, one fruit, boiled rice with vegetables, and fish, egg or meat.

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. It seems your kid is having acute watery diarrhea. Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry. Antibiotics might worsen if unnecessarily used causing antibiotic associated diarrhea. I suggest you use zinc supplements & ORS... Stop Neopeptine. Hope my answer was helpful for you.
