What Causes Lightheadedness, Constant Hunger And Back Pain After Delivery?
I gave birth june 14th 2016 and I got my period june 31, but I m a few days late and I feel light headed at times and hungry all the time even when I finish a meal. I m also having little mild cramping and my back pain on a scale from 1-10 is a 8! I did breastfeed for a month but switched to formula because my milk wasn t good. I saw my doctor july 25 for birth control but my pharmacy had to order some but haven t got any in so I haven t took it yet! Could I be pregnant again?
* As per my clinical experience, the issue of light headache, constant hunger and back pain after delivery indicates possible hormone changes in terms of prolactin and others affecting central nervous system homeostasis, there is the very less likely possibility of pregnancy at this stage.
* In my clinic, after thorough clinical evaluation, I give symptomatic treatment of the condition and later if required go for any specific hormone assay ahead.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
