What Causes Left Back Pain With A Dark Urine?

i am experiencing left back pain, today it has moved to lower abdomen. Also dark urine. No urination pain though and the back pain is not debiliatating, but is constant. No fever, at least I dont think, I guess I wouldn't know since I have been taking ibuphrophen around the clock..... I am 29. Female. I have pulled my lower back out before, this doesn't feel the same. It's fairly dull, not spasming like before.

Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

Your symptoms are related to kidney. Dark color shows a high urine concentration that is caused by dehydration.

In these cases I recommend drinking a lot of liquids especially water.

To find the diagnosis you need:
1. Abdominal ultrasound.
2. Complete blood count.
3. Blood test(azotemia and creatinine levels).
4. Urine test.

Contact your nephrologist.

All the best.
Dr. Behar.
