i had ablation surgery to correct svt( a heartrate of 170 that did not come down on its own followed by trips to the er for medicine to stop and restart my heart into a normal rhythm.) One night before the surgery my heart raced for eight hours and then i tried to go to sleep and woke up with half my face paralyzed. I had the surgery and still had episodes of rates at 170 bpm that came down on its own with rest without going to the er. I have episodes now that seem like my heart is skipping all over the place, but then it goes back to normal.it still scares me because its like my heart wants to race but can't so it goes into an irregular rhythm now. should i get this checked out?
