My 7 month old infant has had for the past week very strange bowel movements. He used to have one every morning and that would be it. Then they changed to a runny, mucousy, green consistency, and happen as much as 5 times daily. It isn t much in amount. He has no other symptoms.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history about your 7 month old infant having strange bowel movement for the past week. It was once a month initially and now have runny, mucousy and green, almost 5 times a day.
The loose, watery mucousy and green stool indicates that there is an intestinal infection.
I would advise you the following:
Get the stool sample checked and also of the blood.
Get appropriate antibiotic and metronidazole treatment under the guidance of a Pediatrician and your child will be OK.
Also needed is to see why is the child having loose stools.
It can be contamination of the containers or the nipple and proper sterilization so that the infection is not recurrent.
