What Causes Indented And Noisy Stomach?

The left side of my abdomen, right below my rib cage has an indentation, this indentation is not on the right side. Not painful, but this is new. Along with my stomach making lots more noises than usual and for longer durations. Do you know what s going on?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The indentations below the rib cage could be due to indrawing of the intercostal muscles.
Intercostal muscles are the muscles present between the ribs and they help in respiration.
Indrawing of these muscles in seen in labored respiration.
You need to consult your physician for clinical assessment, investigations and management.
The second problem you have mentioned is- stomach making noise for long durations and more than usual.
The sounds are produced due to contractions of the stomach.
They can be avoided by taking light food at right time and avoiding water immediately after meals.
Try these measures are observe whether they help or not.
