What Causes High Fever With Runny Nose And Cough?

My four year old daughter is not feeling well. She has had a fever for six days now which at the highest was 104. We have brought it down with medicine, cool packs, and bathing but it still has not gone down below 100. She also has had a runny nose and slight cough. I took her to the doctor today and they said there is no sign of an ear infection and her lungs sound clear but I an still concerned. They also ruled out a uti. Any advice or comforting words would be great. Thank you.

Hi,
from history it seems that she might be having respiratory tract infection.
Now as six days paseed, chances of having bacterial infection is there.
Go for complete blood checking for TC, DC, platelet count etc to know ytpe of infection.
After report go for treatment accordingly.
She might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 5=7 days.
Give her light food.
Ok and take care.
