What Causes High BP After Delivering A Baby?

Hi, my name is Heather. I jus had a baby full term 5 days ago. i had good bp all the way through the pregnancy. Jus read about postpartum precalmisa and i took my bp and it was 130/91... i also have a history with panic and anxiety and have been feelin a bit on edge with those. i took it again later and it was 121/87... then 124/87. I FEEL mostly ok... jus anxious alot. Is this normal? And should i worry about my bp?

Hi, thanks for writing..
I would advise to check your BP when you are completely relaxed.. Stress could be the cause of your high BP.. If after 2 BP readings, your BP is more than 140/90, you need to take antihypertensive after consulting your doctor.. Reduce the salt intake.. Hope I have answered your query..Good day..
