ABOUT 17 YRS AGO I HAD A HEMATOMA IN MY LOWER LEFT LEG. IT TOOK SOME TIME TO GO AWAY. EVERY SINCE THEN THAT LEG HAS HAD PAIN EVERY NOW AND THEN.. NOW I HAVE THE SAME PAIN I HAD WHEN I HAD THE HEMATOMA BACK THEN AND SAME PLACE. AGAIN WITH NO INJURY TO IT! HOW CAN THIS BE?
There could be some vascular malformation at the site- like a venous bag or AV Fistula. For this, you have to have a proper diagnosis by getting venous and arterial doppler and Even MRI.
Consult your orthopaedic doctor for further details. Treatment may require surgery.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
