What Causes Heart Palpitations With Dizziness After Exertion?

my husband just came in from shoveling snow and his heart was racing and he felt dizzy. 51 years old non smoker thin, heart murmur when he was 10 yrs old but that cleared up. After half hour now he is fine. Is this just a crazy effect of that intense shoveling of very wet heavy snow? He gets very little other exercise daily. We are almost vegans.

Hi,

Yes, I think it is because of the wet heavy snow that your husband faced, so calm down and assure him that it is a conditional state that will take time and go away.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
