What Causes Headache And Heaviness In My Head?

I have had symptoms of a sinus infection since early December. I am 8 days into my third round of antibiotics. This round was perscribed by an ENT. I have terrible pain in my head, my head feels heavy and I feel dizzy when I look down. Are these all really symptoms of a sinus infection. I have had them in the past, but nothing like this.

Hi,

As per your query about sinusitis, and about having terrible pain in head with heaviness and dizzy while looking downwards are due to severe infection especially in the frontal sinus. I would suggest you to consult the ENT specialist again and giving him a full history. He may change the antibiotics and other medications. With investigation like CT scan of the sinuses. I also suggest you to take steam inhalation with Vicks lozenges to get relief. Avoid cold exposure and also take home remedies like ginger and tulsi tea, immunity boosting foods like vitamins A,C,E supplements should also be taken.
