What Causes Growth Of Fat Around The Hip Region?

Ok, so I have had noticeable hips, thighs, and butt since high school. But now I am a freshman in college and I have noticed this fat between my stomach and hip. I don't know where it came from. I noticed it before but now it is bothering me. I need advice. Im 19, so maybe I thought that your body changes every ten years and Im just a year away from being 20. And I am only two years away from between 21. Is this fat between my stomach and hip a sign that my hips are getting more round and wide or do I need to start losing weight?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, such muscular mass increase could be due to the age and it is pretty common in female it could be obesity it is important to rule this out for genetic constitution, it can be avoided or prevented with diet control and regular exercise, with the condition of stress free life, else it may not be any kind of illness, still you need to be careful for over weight hope this information helps.
