What Causes Frequent Vomiting And Migraines?

I have several things going on at once but the biggest problem is vomiting uncontrollably even when nothing is on my stomach. I have no enamel left on my teeth and am nauseated all the time. The vomiting is so bad I keep migraines from the force of the vomiting . Sometimes if I try to stand up while being sick I will see stars and then I pass out. I have so many injuries and I have gotten no explanation. Even one believes I am doing this for attention but I just want it to stop. What should I be doing now because I am tired of the spasms in my esophagus and chest?

Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that your repeated vomiting may be related to a gastro esophageal disorder (like hiatal hernia, refluxor esophageal spasms).

Is your vomiting related to your headaches?

A raised intracranial pressure could cause headache and repeated vomiting.

The episodes of dizziness while standing up seem to be related to low blood pressure or orthostatic hypotension, caused by dehydration.

I recommend consulting with your GP for a careful physical examination, a fibrogastroscopy and some blood lab tests:

-complete blood count
-thyroid hormone levels
- blood electrolytes
- kidney and liver function tests, etc.

A brain CT scan may be needed if suspicions of a raised intracranial pressure are raised.

Hope to have been helpful!

Greetings!
Dr. Aida
