Hi im zalie from philippines my daughter is 8years old when shes 3years old she had primary complex and taking medicines for 3months and then she get ok. When shes at 7 years Old i observe that everytime she has a cough it starts with dry cough and it has a sound i thought that thers a phleghm inside that she cant get off her doctor give her antibiotics and she gets ok but it keeps repeating every 2months with the same symptom she has xray last february and it said that she has left basal pneumonia what bodders me although shes taking antibiotics her cough keeps repeating every 2months. What would it really might be?

The history of primary complex at the age of three and now left basal patch along with the history of repeated coughing is indicative of tuberculosis as such a patch would be very serious if it is a bacterial pneumonia.
I would advise you in such a case the following: - Get quantiferon gold test for tuberculosis, clinical evaluation and diagnosis.
Insist for 6-9 months of treatment. Complete the course till she is cured. You may please take her to the Speciality center and see that she is not suffering from MDR meaning multi drug resistant TB.
