Hello,

He may be suffering from acute gastritis with GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease). Avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking and caffeine drinks.

Use tablet Pantoprazole before breakfast for two weeks, sleep few hours after dinner, and elevate head end of bed.

If symptoms not improved, please consult your doctor so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
