What Causes Frequent Bouts Of Vomiting And Diarrhea In A 14 Year Old?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...i have a 14yr. old son who has had 4 bouts of violent diarrhea and vomiting since christmas. the diarrhea has a very sweet smell to it. there is no pain, no fever, or apparent food triggers. it last normally 1 to 1 1/2 days and then he is ok.

Your concern is appreciated, it is nothing to worry because such diarrhea could be due to the diet taken and it may not be due to any disease.
Because if no other symptoms are there like fatigue, nausea, vomiting, abdomen pain, then it is not the illness moreover passing a stool three to four time in the day is a normal one.
