What Causes Fluid In Ears With Knot Under The Jaw?

26 year old male, 5'11 tall, 190 lbs... No medical history. Healthy. Currently some problems with fluid in right canal and wears hearing aid in right ear. Has tooth that is hurting on right side. Small, bead sized knot came up a few days ago under left jaw bone area kind of under chin. Very small and hard. Thought it may be ingrown hair but seems that would be a little painful and the knot does not hurt at all, not even to the touch.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems like you have infection in the ear leading to fluid accumulation in the ear and there can also be pain and also swollen lymph node under the jaw..
Pain in tooth on the right side can be due to infection in tooth or even there can be radiating pain from ear and tooth infection can also be a cause of swollen lymph node..
You should consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and get an Otoscopic examination done and in case if there is infection in the ear Oral and ear drop antibiotics along with decongestant nasal spray can help..
If needed manual drainage of fluid from ear can also be done..
Disinfection of hearing aid should also be done..
If toothache is due to Ear infection it will also resolve with resolution of ear infection..
If not relieved consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and in case of tooth infection treatment of the cause will help.. As of now you can take Ibuprofen for pain relief..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards
