What Causes Fluctuating Blood Sugar Levels?

My blood sugar sometimes gets so low as 60 and sometime it shoots upto 300. My Hba1c reading is always near about 6.00 with the result that doctos always intepet it as nomal. I am 70 years and take glycomet500 Sr one each in the morning and evening before meals alongwith Glyclazide 40 mg. So isn t this Hba1c reading misleading. What should I do kindly advise.

hba1c levels mesure your average blood glucose levels for a period of 3 months so if it is fine most probably you are in glycemic control. be sure you check your blood glucose fasting and 2 hours after meal. not a random one
