What Causes Fever, Sweating And Rigors?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...I have suffered from typical bacterial infection symptoms for several months - mild to high fever, sweats, rigours, feeling very unwell. Initial diagnosis was a toe infection which was treated with surgery a d iv antibiotics. I also have a spinal stimultor to treat crps. Various white cell scans, bone scans, ultrasounds, blood tests show raised crp but nothing specific. What is happening and what other tests could be useful in finding more information?

HI
Well come to HCM
Chronic illness needs numbers of tests, to rule out the cause of fever and most of the time all the test turned negative, still these need to be done.
1) Blood culture
2) X-ray chest
3) Urine culture sensitivity test
4) Routine blood test (complete ) with ESR, Blood sugar, MT,
you have not given your age and gender here else something could have been thought in this regard, hope this information helps, take care.
