Hello, White spots in throat with fever is indicating towards infection either due to bacteria, virus or fungus and even due to tonsil stones. If your child s strep test is negative then it is more likely to be due to candidiasis or any viral infection causing pharyngitis or tonsil stone as food/mucus may stuck to tonsil. Consult an ENT specialist for further management.
