Hi,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.

I had gone through your question I can understand your concern about partner.

As per your history symptoms and signs it seems to me the prodromal symptoms of viral infection associated with transient anxiety, may be because of the viral infection.

You need to visit a doctor and get it evaluated, if it is shingles (herpes zoster).

You Must keep him hydrated and don't take much stress and make him calm. If there is any rash visit a general physician for further evaluation.

Hope my answer will help you and visit us back if you have any more questions to be answered.

Regards Dr Muzaffar Hussain Parray
