What Causes Fainting While Taking Earwax?
I was helping my husband remove earwax from his ear and he fainted. We sought immediate medical attention and everything checked out fine. The only thing that we were told was that he had a lot of earwax and were given drops to use. What exactly caused him to "pass out" or faint?

Wax induce pain may induce vagus nerve stimulation lead to syncope. Stimulation of vestibular apparatus by cold or hot water may induce vertigo to lead to fall. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
