What Causes Fainting And Bitter Taste In My Mouth?

Hello - I have a bitter taste at the back of my mouth, I am very tired all of the time. Sometimes become faint. If I have a cat nap in the afternoon, when I wake up and in the morning, the taste is not nice. I brush my teeth twice a day and floss. I sometimes get runny poo in the morning with tummy pains.

Hello,

You are suffering from bitter taste at the back of your mouth. You sometimes become faint and are tired most of the time. At times you also have running poo with tummy pains. Avoid spicy, oily food. Stay away from junk food, packaged food and prefer to take home made fresh food over food from outside. Take liver tonics and include food that is good for the liver in plenty in your regular diet. Do not skip meals always take food in time.

Take adequate sleep and rest to aid proper metabolism to take place. Stay warm and well hydrated. Cigarette smoking causes bad taste at the back of the mouth. Avoid smoking and also addictions if any. You should gargle your throat 2-3 times daily with a pinch of salt dissolved in warm water. Keep lozenges in your mouth to prevent dryness and discomfort. Take care of your oral hygiene, brush your teeth, tongue, roof of your mouth, and gums at least two times a day.

Sometimes, GERD and gastritis may also cause such discomfort. you are suggested to take PPI's, Pan-40, once when required for relief. Since you feel faint and are tired all day long, get thyroid function tests (T3, T4, TSH) done. Get TC/DC and Hb% done. Get clinically examined to assess your general health. Take organic fruits, veggies and plant protein.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
