What Causes Ear Pain With Jaw Pain?

hi i m a 22 yr old female resident of Pakistan and at this moment I cant access any doctor here...I have a very severe pain in my left ear and on swallowing I also experience another bout of pain on left side in my mouth.i developed this complaint yesterday.thank u

It is possible that you have an upper respiratory tract infection (common cold, usually viral) and an ear infection along with it.

Ear infections can sometimes accompany the cold.

If the ear is infected, you would need to see a doctor because topical or oral antibiotics would be needed.

In some cases the use of pain medications and monitoring of ear pain is enough but if the pain does not resolve the ear would need to be assessed.

In addition to pain medication, you can also use a topical throat gargle/spray /lozenge to help with the sore throat.
