What Causes Dryness And Cracks In Feet And Palms?

Would there be any other cause of why the inside of my hands and bottoms of my feet have begun to get excessively dry and cracked. The winter weather has always made my skin drier but this is the worst - if I use vaseline it is a temporary fix but then it reverts back if I don t use it daily. Also, why does my sciatica come and go?

hI there..
Thanks for posting in HCM.
The answer to your problem lies within your question! As you are having a dry skin problem your feet get cracked. Basically the problem lies in your top layer of skin called epidermis which has less capacity to hold water.
Applying a good moisturiser every four hours can improve your symptoms.
Creams containing salicylic acid, glycolic acid and urea are also useful.
Hope you benifit from this answer.
