What Causes Difficult To Urinate After A Surgery To Remove Scar From Abdominal Area?
My wife had surgery to remove scar tissue in her abdominal area. Since the surgery she has had problems unrinating sometimes she can hardly pass a drop, sometimes she goes quite a bit. She has pain in her abdomen constantly. She finally went and saw her doctor who ran some tests and she is awaiting the results. The Doctor said he would be able to treat this in 2 different ways based on the test results. He did say that one thing that would affect the treatment would be is if I had another sexual partner. I was having an affair but it ended over a year ago. At this time my wife went for a full battery of testing all which came up negative. The Doctor said she may have a form of endometriosis on her bladder or she may have had several bladder infections that were really never cleared up. Any ideas?
Postoperative urinary difficulties usually narrate the underlying infection, though other issues as post catheter bladder muscle atony, spinal anesthesia-induced bladder paresis or other causes of autonomic dysfunction have to be figured out by experts.
Once the culture reports clean cheat the infection, a battery of tests including uroflowmetry and CT IVP are best guidelines for the final diagnosis.
