What Causes Diarrhea With Fatigue And Rectal Bleeding?

I have had diarrhea for about 10 months this is accompanied by weight gain fatigue rectal bleeding (ulcers) abdominal pain, & vomiting. This only started after I was hospitalized for ischemic colitis, & infection. I have been through many tests. Blood test, endoscopy, colonoscopy you name it the only thing found was a little thickening of the small intestine, but my G.I. cannot come up with a diagnosis. I am desperate I live as aHermit in my home. I can t really leave my home due to my frequent urges to use the restroom! I m hoping you my have a idea or suggestion on what this could be!

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of having diarrhea for 10 months , but have weight gain, fatigue, rectal bleeding abdominal pain and vomiting. This occurred after getting admitted for ischemic colitis and infection, all the tests mentioned are negative except for little thickening of small intestine.
This indicates the following:
The cause may be IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome. This is so as all the investigations are normal except for mild thickening of the small intestine.
I would advise you the following:
Get the capsule endoscopy.
Laparoscopic diagnosis and biopsy if possible.

Tests related to tuberculosis, Typhoid and so on as per the clinical evaluation by your Doctor and get treatment accordingly.
