What Causes Diarrhea And Constipation Despite Having IBS?

I suspect IBS-A. I have frequently had diarrhea, sometimes constipation or followed immediately by diarrhea. My health is otherwise good. I am not only post-menopausal, but I am also long post-hysterectomy. I take Prozac and a small Estradiol dose.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your symptoms of diarrhoea and constipation following intake of estradiol and prozac with a history of post menopausal and post hysterectomy I am suggesting that this is attributed largely due to your autonomic nerves supplying your intestine is gradually getting weak due senile

In view of this please use some laxative and Antispasmodic drug to control the symptoms

If no improvement please schedule an appointment with a gastroenterologist specialist for expert management

I hope this helps Regards
