Hello,
I can understand your concern. As a
dentist, I would like to clear that Vyvanse has no direct relation with the development of decay in the front teeth. Yes, it may happen that Vyvanse has caused
dry mouth as side effect. Dry mouth means decreased secretion of saliva. Saliva having cleansing and antimicrobial properties helps in keeping teeth clean. In case of decreased secretion of saliva, teeth may develop caries. You should see a dentist for restoration of these carious lesions so that they do not progress further and maintain half yearly visits to dentist for regular check up of oral cavity for new lesions.
In addition, as the doctor cleared you of any lung or
airway disease for
chest tightness and breathing problems, I would advise you to
consult a cardiologist once as the condition might be heart related presenting the same symptoms as lung disease. If the cardiologist clears you of
heart disease, then we can assume that the chest tightness and breathing problems are anxiety related and you need to relax more to have relief in that. Yoga and
meditation can help too. This condition also does not seem related to Vyvanse.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HCM. I wish you feel better too.
