What Causes Crunching In Back Of Neck When Moved, Floaters In Eyes?
I have had a crunching in back of neck for past 3 months when I move it. I get head zaps at least oce and sometimes 4-5 times a day. I am also now getting headaches that feel like tension headaches worsening in last week and at night. They radiate from back of neck up to head. I also feel pressure in my head around nose and top of head. Head zaps which feel like something has touched a nerve are also worse. I have appointment with a retina consultant as apparently there is something in eye but not sure this is related. I also have some black spots floaters in left eye which again may be unrelated. Does this sound like muscular, neurological or ENT problem as I'm unsure what sort of specialist to see? Thank you.
Hello It seems from the history that you are having headache with crunching pain in neck and floaters. Floaters are not related to headache, they are caused by vitreous opacities because of age related degenerations. This requires evaluation by ophthalmologistto find out undeunderlying cause and treatment accordingly. Headache and neck pain can be related and require treatment by analgesics.
Thank you
