What Causes Coughing Of Blood And Orange Stuff With Burning Throat And Cough?
my husband had a burning in his throat and a very bad cough like he had something stuck in this throat and couldn't breath well in the middle of the night. Was thinking it could be acid reflux but he didn't have heartburn at the time. Also when he coughed he was spitting up blood and an orange colored stuff. What could it be?

If no heart burn and abdominal pain present then it could not be acid reflux...
Your husband can have here upper respiratory tract infection along with pharyngitis
He needs to prescribed antibiotic course for five days
Drink more water
Avoid excess spicy foods
Steam inhalation done three times a day
For congestion relief antihistaminic drug prescribed like phenylephrine
But remember if congestion and inflammation more then short term steroid course can be prescribed for five days instead of antihistaminic drug
You can be investigated with CBC, chest x ray and Auscultation examination first
Consult nearby doctor for examination and discuss all these
