Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My doctor diagnosed me with gastritis in May of 2010. I have continued to have these attacks since. I have a dull constant pain and a stabbing sharp pain about 1 inch below my ribs on my right side, with a pain that radiates thru my back. I cannot get any relief when I have these attacks. What can I do?
It could be due to conditions like costochondritis. As of now you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
