What Causes Constant Menstrual-like Cramps In Pregnancy?

Hi... i am 37 weeks pregnant and woke up with constant mentrual like cramps today. went to L+D and when they did urine sample i had blood in my urine...they couldnt say where it was coming from...i dont know if its from my kidneys because im not having any pain other than the lower abdomen cramping

Hello,
In the current scenario, you need further investigation and also get proper management if you have any asymptomatic bacteria. You would need a renal sonogram, renal profile tests and a proper antibiotic after seeing a nephrologist in consultation with your gynecologist. You would need an anti-spasmodic too. Please take adequate rest in left lateral position and watch for any vaginal discharge, fetal movements and onset of pains. Hope your query has been answered. Wish you safe motherhood.
