What Causes Constant Body Heat With Celiac Disease And Eczema?
my older sister is experiencing constant heat in her skin, so much so that even air conditioning on full blast won t help. She keeps ice packs on. It started with feeling it where ever her body touched things, such as her pillow and bed,. She does have 2 different autoimmune issues, Celiac disease and severe Ecxima. Could this be a sign of another one? My mom is concerned it s Lupus. Her aweful insurnce will only give her one more Dr appt for the rest of the year.
As per your case history of severe eczema, my treatment advice is:
1. Do not scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like Fusiderm-b cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral steroid like prednisone or betamethasone taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
