What Causes Clamminess?

Last night my husband who is 62 had a sudden headache and upset stomach. He also felt very clammy. I gave him Ibuprofen for the headache and Pepcid for the stomach. It took about half an hour for the symptoms to go away and he feels better today. What could have caused sudden symptoms like that. He didn t eat his dinner either which is so not normal. He s a big guy, 6 2, 140. Thank you

The thing I would be concerned about with the sudden symptoms would be a small heart attack or angina. Occasionally this can occur without chest pain, and only minor symptoms like nausea and sweating. He should tell his doctor right away what happened and ask what to do. His doctor may want him to get an EKG and bloodwork or go to the Emergency Room to be sure no heart damage has occurred. If you can't get hold of his doctor right away, the safest thing would be to go to the ER and get checked. Hope this helps.
