What Causes Chronic Imbalance?

I have had a balance problem for about 8 years now. I feel like I am falling. Especially when I lay my head down but often during the day. I also have tremors and my head shakes. I am 62 years old and healthy and I ahve been to many doctors and they can t tell me the problem. Can it be stress? I do take a Propranolol daily for my blood pressure and it is in control.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding imbalance and tremers. As your age is also above 60 yrs and you are having this for last 6 or 7 yrs. All these above compel us to think about central lesion I.e. probably pathology is in hind brain. I am not thinking for vestibular vertigo because you have tremers as well which is never in vestibular vertigo.

I would like to tell you to please consult a neurologist and investigate yourself as per his advice to get proper solution.

Thanks for consulting H.C.M.
