hi my name is nico i am 18 years old and had minor chest pains and skipped heart beats with occcasional shortness of breath i am fit young man i play a lot of sport and am resonably healthly i have been to a doctor and they think i am fine any ideas? my heart skips beat occasionally and the chest pains aren't constant

I can understand your concern.
Skipping of heart beat with chest pain and breathing difficulty are commonly seen in arrhythmia. It is heart disease with problem in rhythm of heart.
If not treated promptly, this can lead to serious complications.
So better to first get done ecg, 2d echo and Holter monitoring (24 hour continuous monitoring of ecg).
If all these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases. But if any of these is abnormal then you need treatment.
So consult doctor and discuss all these.
