What Causes Chest Pain And Nausea When Suffering From Hiatal Hernia?

I have had severe reflux for years and have been told years ago that I have a hiatal hernia, but lately its like my food gets stuck in my chest, have nausea sometimes when I eat. I ate a kiwi about a week ago and I had severe chest pains. Could this be getting worse over a period of time? Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would like to advise that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated.

I would also advise that you should take an antacid like Omeprazole 40mg once a day before meals along with Domperidone 30mg for relief from your symptoms.

Avoid spicy and oily foods.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
