What Causes Chest Discomfort And Pressure In A 13 Year Old?

Three days ago, my 13 year old son woke up crying and complaining that his heart hurts. I suspected heartburn and gave him 2 Tum antacids. He felt better and soon went back to sleep. Since then, he has been complaining of chest discomfort, pain and pressure.......not sure what to now make of this.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Your history suggests that he is suffering from acid peptic disease.
In addition to using antacids he should change his life style.
Small frequent bland diet
Avoid spices and sour foods and chillies.
See that he does not take junk foods from outside.
Let him take cold foods and curd rice or rice with buttermilk.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
