Hello and welcome to HCM,
A granuloma is a collection of histiocytes, epithelioid cells, fibroblasts and lymphocytes.
Granuloma is formed in certain chronic infections mediated by delayed type of hypersensitivity like tuberculosis, sarcoidosis, fungal infection, foreign body, berylliosis etc.
Tuberculosis is by far the most common infection in developing world.
Exposure to tubercle bacilli (invariably present in developing countries) can lead to granuloma formation even if infection is not produced.
a granuloma can undergo calcification with passage of time.
Calcification is due to degeneration of the granuloma.

Different countries have different policies on detection of fibrosis or calcified nodes on X-ray chest.
You can get a repeat X-ray and wait for their comments.
Whether they consider you fit or unfit depends on their protocols.

Thanks and take care
