What Causes Burning In Pelvis, thighs, perineium And Groin Areas?

I have had a dull uncomfortable buring in my pelvis, thighs, perineium, and groin areas. it has been there for 3 weeks. It comes and goes and seems to be a little worse when sitting. No pain during urination and no discharge of any kind. I have been to my dr and urologist with a follow-up this week. They don t have an answer yet. prostate checks out fine. Also see a very dim purplish spot on head of penis that doesn t hurt. Seems to come and go. Wondering if it is because of checking myself numerous times during the day.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to urinary tract infection.

Consult a physician and plan for a urine culture.

Nothing much to worry and you will improve with antibiotics.

As of now drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
