General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for your query.
I believe your symptoms indicate Endometriosis.
This is when the tissue which is supposed to be within the uterus grows elsewhere and causes pain and abnormal bleeding between or during periods.

The extent and severity can vary between individuals but in the long run can affect you chances of getting pregnant.

I recommend :
-an OBGYN consult
-ultrasound pelvis
-an diagnostic and therapeutic laparoscopy to check for extent of Endometriosis.
-blood tests (complete blood count)
-consider future fertility issues and know/understand your options if the ovaries are affected.
If you are already married or attached, consider having children sooner than later.
Please talk to your doctor for treatment options.

Hope this helps. Wish you the best.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
