What Causes Brown Spots When Had Sex During Pregnancy?

Hi I'm 39+2 weeks pregnant my partner and I had sex last night and I felt a pop when I climaxed but no gush of water. Then after we had finished I went to the toilet and there was a couple of spots of brown coming away after I wiped what could this be pleaze

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
In pregnancy blood supply to local genital organs will increase.
That could be one reason for postcoital spotting.
If the spotting persists or turns into bleeding better to consult gynecologist once and get examined.
As there is no pains or leakage of liquor, there is less possibility for labor or rupture of membranes respectively.
Better to avoid intercourse till delivery.
Because that can lead to complications like rupture of membranes, infections etc.
Continue regular antenatal checkups and ultrasound examinations.
