What Causes Bloody Stools?

I'm19 71 in 160lbs and have noticed red blood on my toilet paper. This has happened before when I had started flight training and now again when I restarted recently which is very stressful as it was back then. I was wondering if this was the cause or something more serious.

blood in stools means it is coming from digestive tract mainly lower ,but from uppertract usually look black
since you noticed blood in stools you have to consult a medical gastro specialist so that they will do adequate investigations including endoscopy to find out the source .
