Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have bloody diahrrea today...I have been busy shopping and wrapping.,etc..I had surgery years ago, and my scar tissue broke loose and caused a lump by my hip bone...I have had it for about 10 years...had scans, no one can seem to find it..I feel ok, just the blood...
HI Well come to HCM I appreciate your concern, if the main concern is the blood stain stool then it may be due to constipation and that might have form the fissures or the hemorrhoid else it is least concern with the history of the surgery and the scar complications. If this is really constipation then it needs to be relived and for that drink more water, have more fiber containing diet, you can even try the Isabgol powder prior to bed. Hemorrhoid and fissures needs surgery and it can not be managed on conservative of line treatment. hope this information helps.
