I really appreciate your concern, most of the time it is not the bacterium causes the symptom of disease in GI system but it is the Protozoa that causes the disease, and amoeba, and other could be the organism and if it is the bacteria then the most common is E-coli that causes the sever GI symptoms and disease and hope this information helps.
