What Causes Blood In Stool With Stomach Pain?

i have been having bright red blood in my stool almost every time i pass a BM for almost two weeks now. Have been having pain in my right side of my stomach that started when the blood did. Sometimes its been a lot of blood and other times there has been little to none. Tonight has been the most that i have seen, and when i say a lot i mean a lot.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Lots of blood in stool can be due to bleeding piles or polyposis or some disorders like hemangioma, telangiectasis and so on.
You also have pain in the right side of the abdomen that started with the bleeding in stools hence colitis with any such problems should be suspected.
This can be diagnosed by the following:
Tests of stool and blood.
Ultrasonography to start with and CT scan of the abdomen as needed.
Colonoscopy after preparation and biopsy may be the most diagnostic and hence must be done.
Get a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics.
Further management will be as per the reports and clinical evaluation.
