General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* There can be multiple possible reasons for such issue of bloating and rib cage pain as:

- chronic gastritis or duodenitis

- ulcer stomach or duodenum

- pancreas issues as chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic duct abnormalities

- spleen problems

- other intestine issues

* In my clinic, after clinical examination, I recommend to undertake ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis, CT scan of the abdomen with or without upper GI endoscopy for precise evaluation and managementin accordance to that.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
