Hello,

Since you are experiencing premenstrual spotting only since consummation, infection or hormone disturbance which is of a temporary nature, should be suspected. If you are experiencing scanty menstruation, please exclude pregnancy either by a home pregnancy test or the estimation of serum beta-hCG titers. Maintenance of proper genital hygiene is of utmost importance. Maintain a healthy lifestyle. Please see a specialist if your problem persists and plan further management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam, OBGYN
