Hi, My girlfriend had diarrhea today and she says it was "almost black." At first she said it was black, then she said almost, like it was really dark brown, almost black. I'm panicking because i know that black stool is a sign of internal bleeding. She also has experienced (today and the other night) very severe, sharp lower stomach pain, located in the middle of her stomach, which actually woke her up several times the other night. I would like to know if she should go see a doctor, because she talked to a physician over the phone who said not to worry unless it happens again, or if she spits up blood. Thank you.
